New Year, New Blog

It’s been quite a while since I last remember filling up this blog with updates about my life and work. Anyway, since I’ve been out‘a here, a lot of things happened to my life. I don’t want to detail them here since some are too personal for the world to know that it would be best for me to keep them concealed.

I’ve been rethinking about how am I going to spend my life. This blogging and online writing job has kept me really, really busy but I am still concerned of whether or not to pursue teaching. Right now, my two-month contract with a nearby school has already ended and I’m back on my working desk, spending countless hours writing and editing articles, emailing clients, and commenting on Twitter and Facebook (which surprisingly pays me $$$ a month!). I’m loving this job but I’m still concerned of what the future has in stored for me. But then again, whenever my fingers start pressing the keyboards, when the earplug and mellow music begin to take me far and away from this world, when ideas start rolling out from my head, that’s when I start feeling happiness and contentment with what I’m doing.

Now, you might want to know why I keep on loving this job. Here’s my reason why:

1. It’s doesn’t put too much pressure on my part

Of course, every job has its own level of stress and pressure but I don’t feel much of it when I’m blogging and writing. As a matter of fact, I feel relaxed and content when I’m at it. Unlike teaching, which compels me to exhaust my throat and mind, writing rejuvenates me and makes me feel I am more intelligent every time I write a brand-new article.

2. It gives me enough sleep

An eight-hour sleep is the luxury I’ll never trade with any wealth in the world. Give me an eight-hour sleep and I’d really, really love you.

3. It gives me time to take time out

Since I am my own boss, I need not worry should I ever want to go out for a walk at 4 pm or get to work at 10 am. I can budget my time and do whatever I want provided, of course, that I finish my job and submit my work on time, which I always do.

I have other blogs that need updating so I am planning to give those blogs a sort of revival. You’ll here more from me in the coming days.

Thanks for the time!
