God Bless You, You are Lucky!

I’d rather not say good luck to someone. But when giving out my blessings, I am used to saying “God bless you,” instead.

Luck is not founded in faith, blessing is. Good luck is uncertain. It could change in the blink of the eye. In good luck, there is bad luck to oppose. But in blessing, everything is goodness and there is no anticipation for bad luck.

Blessings are founded on faith with God, of something that is certain by the grace of God. Good luck is wholly based on chances, while blessings is wholly based on faith.
Ecclesiastes 9:11-12 shares that the perspective of luck leaves God out of the picture while 2 Chronicles 18 tells of King’s Ahab’s death, letting us know that everything comes not of chances or luck but because of God has destined it to happen.

To end, let us meditate with what Proverbs 16:33 says, “The lot is cast into the lap, but every decision is from the Lord.” Have a blessed Sunday!
